Job Title: AS400/Synon/RPGLE Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AS400/Synon/RPGLE Developer to join our team and support our clients in developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications on the AS400 platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RPGLE programming and experience with Synon for rapid application development.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop, test, and deploy RPGLE programs according to project requirements
- Work closely with business analysts and end users to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate AS400 applications with other systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications
- Document code and procedures to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in RPGLE programming on the AS400 platform
- Proficiency with Synon for rapid application development
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
