Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of desktop operating systems, hardware, and software applications, as well as excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop systems and software applications
- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support
- Coordinate with IT staff to resolve issues and implement solutions
- Set up and configure new desktop systems for employees
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktop systems
- Document technical procedures and solutions for end-users
- Train end-users on the proper use of desktop systems and applications
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems, hardware, and software
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus
