Job Title: Vertex Admin
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Vertex Admin to join our team. The Vertex Admin will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Vertex tax software system to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Configure and maintain the Vertex tax software system.
2. Implement Vertex updates and patches as needed.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate tax calculations.
4. Provide training and support to end-users on the Vertex system.
5. Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy.
6. Stay current on tax laws and regulations related to the Vertex system.
7. Assist with tax planning and reporting as needed.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the Vertex system.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 2+ years of experience working with Vertex tax software.
3. Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
