Job Title: BigFix Patch Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced BigFix Patch Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting patch management solutions using BigFix. The individual will ensure that all systems are up-to-date and secure by managing the deployment of patches and updates.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Design, implement, and maintain patch management solutions using BigFix.
2. Monitor and manage the deployment of patches and updates across all systems.
3. Investigate and resolve any patch-related issues or vulnerabilities.
4. Develop and maintain patching schedules and procedures.
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuous improvement of patch management processes.
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in patch management.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with BigFix patch management.
3. Strong knowledge of patch management tools and best practices.
4. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
