Job Title: Data Center Support Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Center Support Technician with expertise in Firewall Migration to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting the migration of firewalls in our data center environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough assessment of current firewall infrastructure
- Develop migration plan and timeline for firewall migration
- Implement firewall migration in accordance with best practices and security protocols
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for firewall issues post-migration
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful migration process
- Document all migration activities and update relevant documentation as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data center support and firewall migration
- Hands-on experience with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Check Point
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus
