Job Title: Guidewire Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Guidewire Developer to join our team in designing, developing, and implementing Guidewire applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience working with Guidewire software to customize and enhance insurance applications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design and develop custom Guidewire applications using Gosu programming language
- Customize and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter modules
- Conduct unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and performance
- Work with team members to integrate Guidewire applications with other systems and third-party applications
- Provide technical support and maintenance for Guidewire applications post-implementation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with Guidewire software
- Proficiency in Gosu programming language
- Strong understanding of insurance domain and business processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Guidewire certification is a plus
