Job Description

Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our organization's employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. The Desktop Support Specialist will also assist with network and server issues as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals

- Install and configure software applications on desktop computers and laptops

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve them in a timely manner

- Set up and support user accounts, email, and office productivity tools

- Perform regular maintenance tasks on desktop computers and laptops

- Assist with network and server maintenance as needed

- Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference

- Provide excellent customer service and communication to end-users

Qualifications and Skills:

- 2+ years of experience in desktop support or related field

- Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems

- Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus
