Job Title: ADA Tester

Job Summary:

As an ADA Tester, you will be responsible for testing websites and digital applications for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. You will ensure that websites and applications are accessible to individuals with disabilities, including those who are blind, deaf, or have mobility impairments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Conduct accessibility testing on websites and digital applications using assistive technologies such as screen readers and voice recognition software.

2. Identify and document accessibility issues and provide recommendations for remediation.

3. Collaborate with designers, developers, and content creators to implement accessibility best practices.

4. Stay current on ADA guidelines and industry standards for web accessibility.

5. Advocate for accessibility within the organization and educate team members on the importance of inclusive design.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

2. Experience with accessibility testing tools such as JAWS, NVDA, and WAVE.

3. Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 guidelines and Section 508 requirements.

4. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
