Role: Supabase Lead

Location: Remote

Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

·         Design and implement backend architecture using Supabase or Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions, Storage, Supabase SQL, Edge Functions). Preferred Supabase.

·         Develop secure and scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile apps.

·         Integrate backend services with third-party APIs and cloud infrastructure.

·         Manage real-time data synchronization and optimize database queries.

·         Ensure data security, role-based access control, and compliance with best practices.

·         Implement CI/CD pipelines, serverless functions, and cloud deployment workflows.

·         Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize backend services for scalability.

·         Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·         Strong experience with Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Realtime, Functions) or Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting). Preferred Supabase

·         Solid understanding of backend development, APIs, and serverless architecture.

·         Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript.

·         Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and NoSQL databases.

·         Experience with authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT, role-based access control).

·         Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

·         Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

·         Knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, and testing frameworks
