Job Title: AWS Redshift Engineer

Location: Toronto Downtown, Ontario (Onsite / Hybrid – as applicable)

Duration: 6-12 Months [Possible Extension]

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Redshift Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines on AWS, with a focus on Redshift-based analytics solutions. Experience working with BMO (Bank of Montreal) or in a large financial institution is highly preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS Redshift
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and PySpark
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT design
• Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning in Redshift
• Experience working with large-scale data sets in cloud environments
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, IAM, CloudWatch
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at BMO (Bank of Montreal) or other major financial institutions
• Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments
• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance standards
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
