Job Title: Network Engineer – L3
Location: Los Angeles, CA / Rosemead, CA – Onsite
Type: 6-12 Months Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer (L3) to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure in an onsite role. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, troubleshooting, and network operations in a large-scale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 network support for enterprise LAN/WAN environments
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex network issues
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and hardware refresh initiatives
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs
• Participate in on-call support and incident management as required

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering (L3)
• Strong experience with Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, ASA/Firepower)
• Experience with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
• Solid troubleshooting skills in production environments
• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar)
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Los Angeles / Rosemead, CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco certifications (CCNP / CCIE)
• Experience in large enterprise or utility environments
• Knowledge of network security and firewall technologies
