We are seeking an experienced GCP Administrator to manage and support our Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cloud administration, security, access management, monitoring, cost optimization, and automation while ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements. This role involves close collaboration with DevOps and SRE teams to support deployments and maintain system reliability.
Manage and administer Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure
Handle Identity and Access Management (IAM) including user roles, permissions, and security policies
Provision and manage cloud resources such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPCs, and Networking
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using GCP monitoring tools
Implement cost optimization strategies and track cloud spending
Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and governance standards
Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Terraform, scripts, and GCP-native tools
Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to support application deployments and CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis
Maintain documentation, configurations, and operational procedures
Strong experience as a GCP Admin / Cloud Administrator
Hands-on expertise with IAM, GCP Security, and Resource Management
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting in GCP
Understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Firewalls)
Experience working with DevOps or SRE teams
Good scripting skills (Shell, Python preferred)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
GCP Certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional level)
Experience in compliance-driven environments
Exposure to Kubernetes (GKE) is a plus
