Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Finance Public Cloud Architect

Location: Byhalia, MS (100% Remote)
Duration: 6 Months

Role Summary

• Lead the design, configuration, and governance of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance, ensuring alignment with SAP Best Practices, clean-core principles, and scalable, compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance architecture
• Lead configuration of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cash Management, Financial Close, and Group Reporting
• Design Finance–Controlling (CO) integration (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Margin Analysis)
• Ensure integration with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Sales
• Govern Public Cloud extensibility (In-App, BTP, CBC)
• Deliver embedded analytics and SAP Analytics Cloud reporting
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, SOX, and audit controls
• Partner with Finance leadership and guide functional teams

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years SAP Finance experience
• 3+ years SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance hands-on experience
• Strong expertise in Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
• Experience with Central Business Configuration (CBC)
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
• Strong stakeholder communication and fit-to-standard leadership

Preferred

• SAP S/4HANA Finance Public Cloud certification
• Greenfield Public Cloud implementation experience
• Industry experience (Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods)
• SAP BTP side-by-side extension experience
