Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Middleware Engineer with strong experience in enterprise messaging and event-driven platforms. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting middleware solutions using IBM MQ, Confluent Kafka, and OpenShift, ensuring high availability, performance, and secure system integration across distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support middleware solutions using IBM MQ and Confluent Kafka.
• Configure, manage, and monitor Kafka clusters, topics, producers, consumers, and connectors.
• Administer IBM MQ components including queue managers, channels, queues, and security.
• Deploy and manage middleware workloads on OpenShift (Kubernetes) platforms.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance tuning, and fault tolerance of middleware systems.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Work closely with application, integration, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support system integrations.
• Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, and certificates.
• Automate deployments and configurations using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code where applicable.
• Maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
