Role: ETL Data engineer (SCM Domain)

Role Description:

Work with business stakeholders to provide technical solutions that deliver business needs.

Assist with the design, estimation, planning and implementation phases of a project.

Work with cloud data warehouses using Snowflake/BigQuery, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability

Must have an excellent functional knowledge of Demand Forecasting and Replenishment systems, as well as the business processes that are required.

Must be able to perform support for the Manhattan DFIO application which includes after hours support, incident support, understanding error messages, know how to identify data errors, and understand common processing errors.

Responsible for creating system test plans and then ultimately performing system testing.

Responsible for following change management requirements, such as creating change requests in the Service Now application as needed.

Required to track time using time reporting software.

Conduct design and code reviews to ensure architectural alignment and quality.

Confirm program & application operation by conducting tests modifying program sequence and/or codes.

Performs systems management and integration functions.

Provides technical support for in scope applications

Work with architect and develop the code

Provide solution to the complex requirement

Peer review code of other team member

Create check list for coding standard

Maintain key process steps defined by customer and TCS project management.

Think out of the box to provide suggestions.

Be creative in analyzing business requirements.

Nice to have some knowledge in Retail business.

Be extremely proactive and independent.

Be a value addition to the team to collaborate and achieve success by completing project goals.

Essential Skills:

Must have the ability to analyze current business processes and build current process model diagrams and make recommendations on changes to improve process

Should be good in communication to handle the upcoming planned migration from DFIO to new Product in planning

Facilitates the process of gathering and documenting user/project requirements.

Responsible for providing expertise and best practice recommendations to the team.

Must have an excellent functional knowledge of Demand Forecasting and Replenishment systems, as well as the business processes that are required.
