Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize network architectures within Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) environments.

The role focuses on secure, scalable hybrid-cloud networking, seamless integration with Google Cloud services, and enterprise-grade security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design secure and scalable network architectures for GCVE workloads.
• Plan and manage IP addressing schemes, including management, workload, edge services, and service subnets.
• Integrate GCVE with Google Cloud VPCs using Private Service Access and VPC peering.
• Ensure network solutions integrate seamlessly with on-premises infrastructure and Google Cloud services.

Security & Compliance

• Implement advanced network security features, including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Configure DDoS mitigation, SSL offloading, IDS/IPS, and Deep Packet Inspection (DPI).
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and cloud governance policies.

Connectivity & Integration

• Configure VPN and Cloud Interconnect for hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Enable dynamic routing using BGP to support seamless on-premises to cloud communication.
• Support workload migration and mobility using VMware HCX.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) networking.
• In-depth knowledge of VPC networking, hybrid cloud connectivity, and NSX-T.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network security technologies and protocols.
• Proven ability to design and support hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
