Job Description: GCP Cloud/DevOps Engineer
Location: Denver, CO (Onsite)

Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and reliable applications within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment, while ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using GCP services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Compute Engine.
• Integrate, configure, and manage GCP services, including databases (Cloud SQL, Spanner), storage solutions, and networking components.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes using Cloud Build.
• Monitor and optimize application performance while ensuring efficient utilization and cost management of GCP resources.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards within the GCP environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural design and decision-making discussions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud-native application development.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD methodologies, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security principles, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, onsite team environment.
