Job Title: Pega – Product Owner / Service Delivery Lead (Banking Domain)

Location: Toronto, ON — Onsite
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
Experience Required: 12–18 Years

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly seasoned Pega Product Owner / Service Delivery Lead to drive product strategy, execution, and operational excellence across enterprise Pega platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Pega PRPC, strong product ownership leadership, and hands-on experience managing end-to-end service delivery in large-scale, multi-stakeholder environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the product roadmap, backlog prioritization, and release planning for Pega applications
Translate business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity for development squads
Lead Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, PI planning, and UAT coordination
Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders, developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, and support teams
Oversee operational performance of Pega applications — SLAs, incident management, change control, and enhancements
Govern vendor and managed services performance, ensuring timely and quality delivery
Drive continuous improvement using analytics, customer feedback, and retrospective insights
Maintain compliance, audit documentation, and risk mitigation for the platform and product releases
Provide executive-level reporting on roadmap progress, delivery risks, and KPI adherence

 

Required Skills / Experience

12–18 years of total IT experience with 6+ years working in Pega PRPC ecosystem
Proven track record as Product Owner, Service Delivery Lead, Technical Delivery Lead, or Platform Owner
Strong understanding of Pega case lifecycle, rules, integrations, APIs, workflows, and data models
Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum / SAFe environments
Demonstrated ability to manage platform delivery + operations simultaneously
Deep experience managing multi-vendor + globally distributed delivery teams
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, prioritization & decision-making skills

 

Preferred / Good-to-Have

Pega CSA / CSSA / LSA Certification
Agile certifications (CSPO / PSPO / SAFe POPM)
ITIL certification or strong understanding of IT service management
Domain exposure: BFSI, Insurance, Healthcare, Government, or Telecom
