Title: Sr. Automation Test Lead

Contract

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Automation Test Lead with strong hands-on expertise in designing automation frameworks, leading QA teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery of complex enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end automation testing efforts across multiple projects.
• Design, enhance, and maintain robust automation frameworks (UI, API, Mobile).
• Define test strategy, test plans, and automation roadmaps.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and business teams to ensure quality validation.
• Identify gaps, propose solutions, and ensure test coverage across the SDLC.
• Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.
• Perform CI/CD pipeline integrations for automated suites.
• Prepare test metrics, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and ensure optimal suite performance.

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of QA experience with at least 5+ years in test automation leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in Selenium / Playwright / Cypress automation.
• Hands-on experience with Java / Python / JavaScript (one or more).
• Solid understanding of API automation using tools like RestAssured, Postman, Karate, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with BDD / Cucumber / Gherkin frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and team-leading skills.
