Job Title: Salesforce Release Manager

Overview:
We need a delivery-focused Salesforce Release Manager to own end-to-end release governance across a multi-org Salesforce ecosystem. The role drives release planning, coordinates cross-functional execution, and enforces deployment standards to maintain platform stability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead release lifecycle management for Salesforce enhancements, patches, and major deployments.
• Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to align release timelines and mitigate deployment risk.
• Oversee version control, branching strategy, and CI/CD pipelines across Salesforce environments.
• Manage sandbox refresh schedules, environment readiness, and impact assessments.
• Validate deployment packages, review change sets, and ensure compliance with SDLC and audit requirements.
• Run release readiness reviews and post-release retrospectives to tighten process efficiency.
• Maintain documentation for release procedures, technical runbooks, and environment strategy.
• Partner with PMO to sync release calendars with project roadmaps and business priorities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–8+ years of Salesforce ecosystem experience with 3+ years in release/change management.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata, packaging, sandboxes, and deployment workflows.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
• Proven track record managing complex multi-org releases and coordinating cross-functional delivery.
• Strong command of Agile/Scrum and enterprise SDLC governance.
• Excellent risk management, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.
• Experience in regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, Insurance).
• Background in DevOps transformation or environment strategy.
