Role: SAP BODS Developer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities
SAP BODS Development:
· Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into SAP HANA.
Performance & Optimization:
· Optimize BODS dataflows and HANA data models for performance and scalability, including tuning, memory management, and delta load optimization.
Data Modeling (SAP HANA):
· Build and maintain complex HANA data models, including Attribute, Analytic, and Calculation Views.
Data Quality & Cleansing:
· Implement data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes to ensure high data integrity.
Technical Documentation:
· Create and maintain detailed documentation for ETL processes, data models, and technical solutions.
Collaboration & Support:
· Partner with business and functional teams to gather requirements, support testing cycles, and resolve issues.
Troubleshooting:
· Monitor and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to BODS jobs and HANA system performance.
Project Lifecycle Involvement:
· Contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle—requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Required Skills & Experience
· 5+ years of hands-on SAP BODS development experience, including complex ETL job and workflow design.
· 6+ years of SAP HANA experience: data modeling, SQL scripting, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
· Proficiency with HANA development tools (SAP HANA Studio, Web IDE, HANA XS Classic/Advanced).
· Experience integrating with SAP and non-SAP data sources, including cloud platforms.
· Strong background in data migration and end-to-end ETL lifecycle execution.
· In-depth understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing practices, and migration methodologies.
· Familiarity with provisioning tools (SDI, SDA, SLT) and integration methods (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs).
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
