About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated MongoDB Developer with SRE to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and automated database environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MongoDB architecture, DevOps automation, and site reliability engineering practices, ensuring high availability, performance, and observability of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design, implement, and manage MongoDB clusters across on-prem and/or cloud environments.

·         Define and maintain database architecture, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.

·         Develop and maintain automation scripts and pipelines for provisioning, monitoring, backup, and recovery using Python or other scripting languages.

·         Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability, security, and performance.

·         Implement and optimize monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.

·         Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

·         Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting of MongoDB clusters.

·         Ensure high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and data consistency across environments.

·         Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for database changes and automation workflows.

·         Establish and maintain SRE practices — including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for data services.
