Job Title: Sr. UI / Frontend Developer (Lead Level)
Location: Toronto Downtown, ON (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Type: Contract (6-12 Months, Extension Possible)


Experience: 12+ Years Total (Strong UI Lead Experience Required)

 

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Lead UI Developer with extensive hands-on experience in React and Angular frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting and developing scalable front-end solutions, leading UI development practices, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade applications. Strong expertise in RxJS, NgRx, and modern UI performance optimization is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale UI applications.
  • Work in a fully onsite development environment collaborating with UX, backend, and product teams.
  • Develop reusable UI components and front-end libraries.
  • Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and optimized for speed and scalability.
  • Drive code reviews, best practices, and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot UI issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and delivery.

 

Must Have Technical Skills:

  • Banking domain experience is must to have.
  • 12+ years’ experience in Frontend/UI development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in:
    • React (Hooks, Context API, State Management)
    • Angular (v9+ preferred)
    • RxJS, NgRx or similar state management libraries
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.
  • Experience designing scalable component-based UI architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON-based integrations.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and browser rendering optimization skills.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in financial/banking domain.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Micro Frontend Architecture.
  • Experience working with cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
