Job Summary:
Client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst IV to drive data-driven insights and optimize performance across its gaming ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in data analytics, business intelligence, and live game economy management. This role requires deep analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with product, design, and publishing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights across gaming products.
- Partner with product managers and designers to evaluate in-game economy performance, player engagement, and monetization strategies.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data pipelines using SQL, Python, or R.
- Translate data insights into clear recommendations that inform live operations and publishing decisions.
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis for new game features or economy adjustments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data integrity, consistency, and scalable reporting frameworks.
- Support live ops initiatives through detailed KPI tracking and performance optimization.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably within a technology or gaming environment.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with live ops economies, digital economy modeling, and in-game monetization analysis.
- Background in game publishing or analytics for high-profile gaming titles.
- Experience building and balancing digital economies, including virtual currencies, player rewards, and progression systems.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
