Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop evaluation & assessment frameworks for AI/ML models and measure performance across varied tasks.
• Identify, propose, and implement modifications of existing models and frameworks to optimize for new tasks.
• Lead conceptualization of deployment strategies (cloud & on-premises) for models, including distributed ML workloads.
• Align AI/ML deployments with rigorous security & compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, FISMA, DISA SRG) when working in government environments.
• Translate mission objectives (for government or large enterprise clients) into ML-focused technical specs & project plans.

Required & Preferred Skills / Qualifications

Required:

• 4+ years experience in AI/ML engineering, MLOps, systems architecture or similar.
• 2+ years experience working with government networks and security requirements (for public-sector role).
• Programming & development proficiency: Python (model development, data processing, pipelines) is emphasized.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), container orchestration (Kubernetes, etc.), infrastructure as code (Terraform/Ansible/Pulumi) and automated deployments.
