Job Title: Pro*C Consultant with PL/SQL (Migration to Java)
Location: Omaha, NE 68102 (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pro*C Consultant with strong PL/SQL and Java expertise to support a critical migration project from legacy Pro*C & PL/SQL applications to modern Java-based systems. This is an onsite role in Omaha, NE, requiring strong technical depth and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute migration of Pro*C and PL/SQL applications to Java.
• Analyze existing systems, identify dependencies, and create migration strategies.
• Develop and optimize Java code to replicate legacy application functionality.
• Collaborate with architects, DBAs, and QA teams for seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor code for performance and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of overall relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Pro*C & PL/SQL.
• 4+ years of strong Java development experience.
• Prior experience in application modernization or migration projects.
• Strong understanding of database structures, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
