Role: Sr. Solution Architect / Billing Process Expert (Zuora)

Location: Remote (within the US) — Travel up to 40% as per requirement

 

Role Overview

As a Sr. Consulting Leader and Quote-to-Cash (QTC) Solution Architect, you will utilize your experience, process knowledge, and product skills to design, advise, sell, and manage industry-leading transformation programs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business users to understand and document business processes and requirements to devise the best-fit quote-to-cash strategy, application architecture, and process flow charts.
  • Lead QTC transformation with end-to-end solution architecture experience, including Quote to Order to Cash design, credit card automation, fulfillment, order orchestration, pricing optimization, and shipping/logistics implementation for large-scale enterprises with global supply chains.
  • Perform mapping/gapping based on requirements and act as a trusted process advisor on best practices and industry trends in CPQ, subscription-based order management, rebates management, trade promotion, trade compliance, returns management, invoicing, credit management, and payment features for B2B2C models.
  • Implement touchpoints with ERP systems (Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, SAP Hybris, SAP BRIM, Zuora, Infor preferred) with a full understanding of supply chain processes — Bill of Materials, Global Order Promising, Demand Planning, Costing, Production Scheduling, and Work Order Management.
  • Possess CPQ dependencies knowledge for ERP and Receivables (Tax, Receipts, Invoicing) with credit card automation experience (in PaaS or equivalent).
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify changes needed in current implementations, analyze gaps, and propose closure approaches with pros and cons of various technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Order Management and Quoting processes with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in any ERP product.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and detail-orientation skills.

 

Qualifications – Critical Skills

  • 10–15 years of overall business/functional analysis experience, including 4–6 years of onsite implementation experience on the QTC platform.
  • Experience partnering with business teams (Revenue Accounting, Sales Operations, Order Fulfillment, IT, Legal, Support, Finance, etc.) to implement process improvements, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience in Zuora is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience implementing quoting and order management applications such as Quoting, Order Management, Planning, Pricing, Subscription Management, Credit Card Payment Processing, CPQ, and Product Hub.
  • Equivalent experience in Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Pricing Optimization tools (Zilliant, Vendavo) or Billing Automation tools (Billing Platform, Zuora, Stripe) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the order-to-cash cycle of products and services with the ability to recommend process improvements.
  • Manage project updates, internal communication, and represent the function in cross-functional meetings.
  • Drive improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness across QTC processes.
