Job Title: Business Analyst with Capital Markets & Regulatory Reporting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Capital Markets, particularly in Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Regulatory Reporting. The ideal candidate will also have a sound understanding of Testing, along with technical proficiency in patching and troubleshooting applications/systems. This role bridges business requirements with technical solutions and ensures optimal delivery in a regulated and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders in capital markets.
• Collaborate with business users, development teams, and QA to design and validate solutions.
• Lead or support system and user acceptance testing (UAT) with clear traceability to business requirements.
• Interpret and apply regulatory requirements related to capital markets (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, EMIR).
• Work closely with technical teams on issue identification and resolution, including patching and troubleshooting efforts.
• Prepare detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and data mappings.
• Monitor and support the delivery of regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the development of test plans, test cases, and execution of test cycles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Capital Markets domain.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivative products and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Regulatory Reporting platforms or processes.
• Good understanding of Software Testing methodologies and tools (manual or automated).
• Technical background with working knowledge of:
• Application patching processes.
• System troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
