Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Governance Lead with a strong background in software testing, quality assurance, and compliance governance. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of QA/testing experience, including 3+ years in a governance or leadership capacity. This role is responsible for defining and implementing governance frameworks that ensure quality, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and oversee test governance frameworks, policies, and best practices across multiple programs.
• Ensure adherence to SOX control, data governance, and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, ISO, etc.).
• Drive continuous improvement in testing and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test lifecycle alignment with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Govern and monitor usage of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, qTest).
• Review and assess automation, performance, and security testing strategies to ensure quality and compliance.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation and governance reports for senior stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and oversight on test automation governance frameworks and implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• 3+ years in a governance, quality leadership, or compliance oversight role.
• Strong understanding of test lifecycle management, QA methodologies, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with SOX controls, data governance, and test automation.
• Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or qTest.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (SOX, GDPR, ISO).

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to performance and security testing frameworks.
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments (e.g., banking, insurance, or healthcare).
• Certifications in ISTQB, CGEIT, or Quality Governance are a plus.

Required Skills
