Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer (NOC) to support network operations, VSE scheduling, and production support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability and performance of critical network systems and production schedules through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Perform VSE (Virtual Storage Environment) scheduling, batch job monitoring, and production job execution.
• Troubleshoot network and system issues, escalating as needed to senior engineers or vendors.
• Provide 24x7 production support through shift-based NOC operations.
• Coordinate incident resolution and service restoration with internal IT and operations teams.
• Analyze recurring issues, implement preventive measures, and maintain logs/reports.
• Support change management and deployment activities in production environments.
• Ensure adherence to established SLA, security, and compliance guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–8 years of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or production support environments.
• Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, or similar).
• Hands-on experience in VSE scheduling, batch processing, and mainframe or distributed job control.
• Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
• Experience in incident management, ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy), and escalation processes.
• Ability to interpret system alerts and logs for root cause analysis and performance tuning.
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and scripting (Shell/PowerShell) is a plus.
