Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Linux Engineer with strong expertise in Red Hat Linux administration and backup management. The role involves end-to-end Linux engineering, system optimization, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security of enterprise Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux servers across production and non-production environments.
• Perform Linux system engineering, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain system backups and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure system integrity, patching, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments and automation initiatives.
• Document system configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
• Provide advanced technical support for Linux-related incidents and escalations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Linux administration and engineering.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Experience in backup management, recovery planning, and storage integration.
• Proficiency with shell scripting, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) is a plus.
• Understanding of networking concepts, security hardening, and virtualization.
