Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Palantir Data Engineer with strong expertise in Palantir Foundry, Ontology Manager, Tableau, and Alteryx to design, build, and manage scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to transform raw data into actionable insights through well-governed data models and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in Palantir Foundry using Code Repositories, Contour, and Pipeline Builder.
• Build and manage Ontology models using Ontology Manager, defining objects, relationships, actions, and metrics aligned to business processes.
• Translate complex business requirements into Foundry Ontology-driven data products.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple source systems (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud storage).
• Develop and optimize data transformations using SQL, Python, and Spark.
• Create analytical datasets and semantic layers for Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Develop, automate, and optimize workflows using Alteryx Designer, including data preparation, blending, and analytics.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and security using Foundry’s data management capabilities.
• Collaborate with business users and analytics teams to enable self-service BI and advanced analytics.
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Support production deployments, version control, and CI/CD best practices within Foundry.
