Job Title: Sr. ReactJS Developer
Location: Chicago, IL (Local / Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract / Full-time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. ReactJS Developer to join our Chicago-based team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance web applications using ReactJS and related front-end technologies. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and business stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge, client-facing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, reusable ReactJS components and front-end architecture.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to translate designs and wireframes into functional web applications.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and back-end services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.
• Follow Agile methodologies, contribute to sprint planning, and deliver quality solutions on time.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and implement best practices for accessibility and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with ReactJS.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and JSX.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous request handling.
• Knowledge of front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel) and package managers (npm/yarn).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library.
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for front-end deployments.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Location: Must be able to work onsite in Chicago, IL.
