Job Title - Redis DBA
Location - Atlanta, GA (100% onsite)

Role Summary:
The Redis DBA will be responsible for the availability, performance, security, and scalability of Redis databases. This role involves designing high-availability architectures, implementing monitoring and automation, and supporting application teams with Redis best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy and maintain Redis standalone, Sentinel, and Cluster environments.
Configure persistence, replication, and failover for optimal performance.
Monitor system health, optimize memory usage, and manage scaling.
Implement backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery strategies.
Harden Redis security with authentication, encryption, and access control.
Automate operations using scripts, CI/CD, or Infrastructure as Code.
Support developers in designing efficient caching and session management.
Evaluate new Redis features and recommend adoption strategies.
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience as a DBA with strong Redis expertise.
Hands-on knowledge of Redis Cluster, Sentinel, replication, AOF/RDB persistence.
Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting skills.
Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes deployments.
Experience with cloud Redis (AWS ElastiCache, Azure Cache, GCP Memorystore).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
