Job Title: Back End Java Developer (Ex-Walmart Preferred)
Employment Type: W2 Only

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Back End Java Developer with a strong background in building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. Prior experience working with Walmart or Walmart Labs (Ex-Walmart) is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs.
• Work on microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure code quality, unit testing, and best practices in software development.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with continuous integration and delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Core Java (8/11+) and Spring Boot.
• Experience in building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP/Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with Kafka, Cassandra, NoSQL databases preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in high-volume, low-latency environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
