Job Description

Role: SAP Transportation Management

Location: Indianapolis, IN

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP S4 HANA and extensive knowledge of transportation management processes and solutions.
• This individual will be responsible for analysing transportation requirements, designing, and implementing transportation management solutions, and providing ongoing support and maintenance.
  Analyze transportation requirements and design optimal transportation management solutions using S4 HANA platform.
• Expertise in configuration and customization of transportation management functionality within SAP S4 HANA Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate transportation management with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Lead and support transportation management implementation projects, including testing, training, and go-live support.
• Provide guidance and expertise to end users and stakeholders on transportation management best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve transportation management system issues and performance gaps.
  
  

Desired Skills:

• 8 years of experience in SAP transportation management with a focus on S4 HANA In-depth knowledge of transportation management processes, including route optimization, carrier selection, freight planning, and load building
• Strong understanding of SAP S4 HANA transportation management module and its integration with other SAP modules
• Proficiency in SAP Transportation Management (TM) functionality and configuration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and with stakeholders at all levels

Qualifications:

SAP certification in Transportation Management Experience with transportation management integration with external systems such as TMS and WMS Knowledge of industry-specific transportation challenges and best practices Experience with transportation management reporting and analytics tools
