Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payments Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong experience in payment processing, automation initiatives, and deep knowledge of loan operations and letters of credit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing payment systems, driving automation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while providing expert support across lending and trade finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Payments & Automation

• Act as the SME for end-to-end domestic and cross-border payment processes (e.g., SWIFT, ACH, RTGS, SEPA).
• Lead automation initiatives to streamline payment workflows, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to implement API-based solutions and RPA tools for payments.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to industry standards (ISO 20022, SWIFT guidelines).

Loans & Credit Operations

• Provide expertise in the origination, processing, servicing, and accounting of various loan types (commercial, syndicated, retail).
• Ensure proper documentation, disbursement, and monitoring of loan performance in coordination with credit and risk teams.
• Support automation of loan lifecycle processes including onboarding, repayment schedules, and covenant tracking.
