Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Program Manager with extensive experience in managing complex, large-scale SAP programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple SAP projects, aligning them with strategic business goals, managing budgets, stakeholder engagement, and delivering business transformation through SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and drive the successful delivery of multiple SAP projects/programs across business functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, etc.).
Develop program governance framework including schedules, resource plans, financial tracking, risk management, and quality control.
Define program objectives, scope, deliverables, and critical success factors in collaboration with business leaders and stakeholders.
Manage overall program budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and achieving financial targets.
Lead cross-functional teams of SAP functional and technical consultants, external vendors, business process owners, and IT operations.
Ensure alignment of SAP projects with the enterprise IT strategy and business goals.
Manage key stakeholder relationships, including C-level executives, department heads, and external partners.
Identify program risks and proactively implement mitigation plans.
Oversee change management processes and ensure smooth user adoption of SAP solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in SAP landscape and governance practices.
Monitor program performance, report status, and escalate issues as needed to executive leadership.
Provide strategic guidance on SAP roadmap, including upgrade strategies (e.g., S/4HANA migration), process optimization, and technology adoption.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum 13 years of experience in SAP Program / Project Management in large enterprises.
Deep understanding of SAP technologies and modules (SAP S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, WM, SCM).
Proven track record of successfully delivering large SAP transformation programs.
Strong financial management experience (P&L responsibility, budget control).
Expert in program governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Experience with SAP Activate, ASAP methodology, and Agile frameworks.
Strong leadership skills, managing large teams across geographies.
Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers.
Exposure to cloud-based SAP solutions (SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP Program Management Certification
Experience in SAP S/4HANA Greenfield or Brownfield Implementation
Experience with Digital Transformation Projects
Experience in managing global SAP programs
Familiarity with Integration technologies (APIs, middleware, etc.)
