Job Title: Java Developer (With APIGEE Experience)
Location: Onsite – Atlanta, GA
Long Term Contract (W2/C2C)

Job Description: We are looking for a strong Java Developer with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, RESTful API development, and basic familiarity with Apigee to join a high-impact digital transformation project. This is a 100% onsite opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java 8+/11 and Spring Boot
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
• Collaborate with front-end teams, architects, and product owners to deliver robust features
• Work with Apigee API gateway for API exposure, security, and monitoring
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis

Must-Have Skills:

• 9-12 years of total Java development experience
• Prior experience in Banking, Financial Services domain – Highly Preferred
• Apigee/Java certification – Nice to have
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
• Experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X (basic to intermediate level)
• Experience/Exposure of API gateway tools – especially Apigee
• Experience in designing and building REST APIs
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Working knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
• Familiar with OAuth2, JWT, or API security mechanisms
• Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, or New Relic
