Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and Cosmos DB to design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud-based data architecture, distributed databases, and data integration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data architecture solutions using Azure services including Azure Cosmos DB, Data Lake, Synapse, and Azure SQL.
• Define data models and indexing strategies optimized for performance and scalability in Cosmos DB.
• Develop data pipelines and integration workflows using Azure Data Factory and related tools.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and data engineers to deliver robust data-driven solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for Cosmos DB and other data services.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years in data architecture roles with at least 3 years on Azure cloud platform.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB (SQL API, Mongo API, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (NoSQL and relational), distributed systems, and data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
