Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer to join our QA team and ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom components built on the Force.com platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing for Salesforce features and customizations.
- Validate Apex classes, triggers, workflows, process builders, and Lightning components.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve issues and ensure high-quality releases.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Automate test cases using Selenium, Provar, or other relevant Salesforce testing tools (optional but preferred).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Software QA, with at least 2–3 years in Salesforce testing.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, standard/custom objects, and workflows.
- Experience testing Salesforce Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and APIs.
- Knowledge of SOQL, Salesforce sandbox environments, and deployment processes.
- Proficiency in using tools like TestRail, JIRA, Postman, or REST clients.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with test automation tools for Salesforce (e.g., Provar, Selenium, TestComplete).
- Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, or Platform Developer I.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps processes.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
