The customer will provide the required hardware components for installation. Installers will be responsible for:
Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, printers, monitors, and other IT hardware.
Diagnose hardware issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Assist in setting up network equipment like routers, switches, and cabling.
Perform system upgrades, hardware imaging, and component replacements (RAM, hard drives, etc.).
Maintain inventory of hardware equipment and document repairs.
Provide on-site or remote technical support to users regarding hardware issues.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
Collaborate with IT support and systems teams for escalated technical problems.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent preferred
Experience: 1–3 years in a hands-on hardware support or technician role
Strong knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting tools
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
