Job Description

Job Title: ETL Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in a data warehouse or data lake environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and ETL tools to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyze ETL requirements, mappings, and data flows.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL processes and data validation.
• Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Use SQL extensively for data verification and issue diagnosis.
• Identify data anomalies and work with the development team to resolve defects.
• Document test results and contribute to QA reports.

Required Skills:

• Strong SQL skills for data validation and querying.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or SSIS.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and data models.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (optional).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
