Job Title: Azure Data Architect (On Prem to Azure Migration)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to lead the end-to-end data migration from on-premises systems to Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, Azure services, and cloud migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Azure data architecture for enterprise workloads
• Lead migration of data assets from on-premises databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) to Azure (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake)
• Define data models, pipelines, and integration strategies using Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, and Azure Functions
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance throughout the migration process
• Collaborate with stakeholders, DevOps, and data engineering teams for solution delivery

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience in Azure data services and architecture
• Hands-on experience with on-prem to Azure cloud data migrations
• Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks
• Familiarity with Power BI, Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep/Terraform is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
