Job Title: Project Manager Cyber Security for Merger & Acquisition (M&A)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Cyber Security for Merger & Acquisition (M&A) to lead and manage the cyber security workstreams involved in M&A transactions. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including Cybersecurity, IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Business Integration to assess, plan, and implement cybersecurity controls throughout the deal lifecycle—from due diligence to post-merger integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management of cybersecurity-related initiatives during M&A activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to assess cyber risks during due diligence of target companies.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity integration plans aligned with the broader M&A project roadmap.
• Identify security gaps and define remediation actions in acquired entities’ environments.
• Coordinate assessments of third-party systems, infrastructure, and applications to ensure compliance with corporate security standards.
• Track and report project timelines, deliverables, risks, and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Ensure alignment between IT integration and cybersecurity programs.
• Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory and data protection requirements are addressed.
• Manage and report on cybersecurity posture pre- and post-acquisition.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and status updates with stakeholders, ensuring issues and dependencies are clearly communicated and resolved.
