Job title: Desktop Support Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team and provide technical assistance and support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer service abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain desktop hardware and software systems
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email or in person
- Set up and configure new desktop computers and peripherals
- Resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications and connectivity
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates on desktop systems
- Document and track all support tickets and resolutions
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and solutions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support or related field
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) a plus
