Job Title: Java Selenium Tester **Locals Only** 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Java Selenium Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automated testing using Java and Selenium WebDriver, along with a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and testing best practices. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, development, and execution of robust test automation scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
• Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform regression testing and troubleshoot issues found during testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Good understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman for API testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cross-browser and mobile testing.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• ISTQB or similar certification.
