We are seeking a highly motivated Data Center Technician to support the daily operations of our data center facility. The role involves hardware installations, troubleshooting, server maintenance, monitoring system performance, and ensuring optimal uptime and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, networking equipment, and storage devices.
• Perform regular system checks, backups, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor facility environment (power, cooling, and security).
• Respond to service tickets and incident alerts swiftly.
• Coordinate with network engineers and IT teams for upgrades and fixes.
• Maintain documentation of all hardware assets and changes.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in a data center or server environment.
• Basic knowledge of networking, server hardware, and cabling.
• Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work flexible shifts.
• Certifications like CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or similar are a plus.
