Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in GitHub to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems through automation and continuous monitoring. This role requires a deep understanding of GitHub, as well as experience in infrastructure management, software development, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Implementing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems using GitHub tools
- Automating infrastructure deployment, configuration, and management processes
- Collaborating with software developers to optimize and improve system performance
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to system reliability and availability
- Participating in on-call rotation to address technical emergencies
- Conducting performance testing and capacity planning to support system scaling
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role
- Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and collaborative development
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Deep knowledge of networking, security, and system administration
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
