Job Title: System Administrator (Datacenter Ops)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our Datacenter Operations team. The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the infrastructure of our datacenter, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of servers, networks, and storage.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and manage datacenter infrastructure to ensure uptime and availability
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on servers, networks, and storage systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software support
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect datacenter assets
- Create and maintain documentation for datacenter processes and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in system administration, preferably in a datacenter environment
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
